About this product

The Prancing Pony, came from the polo horses that my Grandfather and Uncle would ride in the polo matches. They were farm horses during the week but on the weekend they became prancing ponies. The horses were always beautifully preened for competition, with their manes roached and tails braided so that there is no danger of being tangled in the mallet.

Like a prancing pony this Riesling is elegant and zesty. The grapes were sourced from a single vineyard in the cooler sub region of the Polish Hill River in the Clare Valley. A lovely aroma dominated by lemon and lime nuances that flow to the palate brimming with citrus and slate characters all beautifully balanced by bright acidity to finish.
