Black Friday Growers Recovery Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Black Thursday Sauvignon Blanc was named in commemoration of the 1990 fires, that damaged property and vineyards in the Adelaide Hills. On the morning of Friday the 20th December 2019, another catastrophic fire swept through the region, destroying properties and livestock, decimating native flora and fauna and damaging more than 30% of Adelaide Hills vineyards.

Our Grower Recovery Edition 'Black Friday' Sauvignon Blanc has been produced to support our Growers, with all profits donated to assist in their recovery and planning for the future. The label has been designed to symbolise the regeneration of new vines from the ashes. Please enjoy this wine and reflect on the admirable works of our local volunteers and firefighters, who work tirelessly to preserve their local communities.

Intensely aromatic gooseberry, lychee and paw paw with lifted hints of melon, all integrated with subtle passion fruit, pineapple and guava with nuances of citrus and cucumber. On the palate the wine is lively and vibrant with intense fruit, balanced acidity and a lingering finish.
