HartigansShiraz 2017
About this product
The deep dense dark maroon color gives an indication of the fruit power of this wine. There is a complex array of aromatics with dark plum fruits underlying the intense spicy notes which dominate the nose. The palate is fruit-driven and medium to full-bodied, with the rich plummy fruit character sitting nicely in the mid-palate. The tannins are typical of Great Southern Shiraz, although plentiful they are supple and rounded, allowing for a smooth elegant finish.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Get some kangaroo fillets into a scalding hot pan and unscrew a bottle of this beauty to drink with them. Shiraz and 'roo - how Aussie can you get? Smoothly finished, spicy, with unctuous black cherry and plum, a waft of cardamon, a sprinkle of pepper, a smear of milk chocolate and a hint of coffee bean. Full of juicy flavour. Great value!
