VandenBarossa Valley Dutchmans Durif 2018
About this product
This wine is named after my father and uncle, who emigrated from Holland to Australia in the 1950's. These 2 adventurous brothers made a new succesful life in Australia, married and each had 5 children of their own. These low cropping Durif grapes were grown in the Murray Valley wine region of South Australia, which has an ideal climate for Durif. It has strong flavours of raspberies and pepper, and is suitable for meals with both red and white meat.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
