Crushed, destemmed, 4 weeks on skins, 18 months in French oak (60% new). A very powerful wine, cabernet at its haughtiest best; the tannins are a firm, but balanced part of the long, structured blackcurrant and black olive finish.

You’ve all done very well”. What a different world we live in now, when you look back at the comedy shows from the 70s and 80s. Anyway, good to see a ‘Reserve’ wine released with some bottle age. Cherry, blackcurrant, aniseed, floral perfume, fine spicy oak. It’s medium-bodied, still very fresh, and almost juicy, black olive savouries, supple tannin, fine flow, and excellent length. Svelte and charming, Tannin is suede-like and carries the finish. Good now, or later.
