Grown on the Glengarry vineyard in the Tamar Valley, Tasmania. Unfiltered and with minimal sulphur. 20 year old vines. (Bottle image is the actual one). Clear favourite of the three individual vineyard releases, 94-95 straight up, woodsmoke and undergrowth, red and black cherry, velvety texture but with a bit of grunt and grain in behind. The strings are pulled tight but it’s still juicy and generous. Yes. This is excellent.

Grown on the Saltwater River vineyard in the Tasman Peninsula, Tasmania. Unfiltered and with minimal sulphur. (Bottle image is for illustrative purposes only; actual label is a different/lighter colour). Velvety texture, foresty fruits, sweet spice almost into mocha, both a freshness and a depth. There’s a ferrous aspect to this, almost graphite-like, almost iodine. It raises questions and gives multiple choice answers. It’s complex. It’s tasty. It’s very god.
