The base material is over 50 years old. It has a rich nutty rancio and complex bouquet with mature grape flavours, oak and a hint of very old fine brandy spirit. A true tawny port style, it is a wine of high viscosity, luscious, rich, and full flavoured, and perfectly balanced by a slightly dry nutty finish. The great length of complex flavours highlight the integration of fruit character, oak and brandy spirit.
