Original Cane Spirit

A wild fermented and double distilled sugar cane spirit that tastes like the coast feels.Until a 1960s grass roots community campaign shook things up, our beautiful, world famous Sunshine Coast was known as the Near North Coast. To us it feels like we’re close — but not quite there yet. And we like that a lot. Freshly juiced Maroochy River sugar cane, wild fermented and double distilled —with just a little sweet cane juice added.It’s clean, pure, grassy and herbaceous – just like a Sunshine Coast cane field on a beautiful sub-tropical day.
A Near North.
In a shaker muddle three 1/8 segments of lime, add a generous handful of ice and 30mls of Original Cane. Shake and empty in to a short glass.
