Fenian WinesMornington Peninsula Pinot Gris 2019
About this product
Clear straw with the most subtle hint of copper at its heart. Violet and pear aromas lifted by ethereal floral notes. A pulsating palate forges through with tight acid despite the vintage heat that mangaged to get these grapes super ripe. At nearly 15% alcohol this is a beast. Its power will grow with time as will its breadth. The palate has hints of river stone flint and the mouthfeel is gentle and delicate. Lovely balance, a display of winemakers genius.

Full bodied white wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with good palate weight and full flavours.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Pale, lemon-flesh-yellow colour. A distinctly nutty nose of almonds and cashews, subdued pear notes under a lovely cloud of musk. The palate holds an almond bitterness. Combined with lemon rind acidity, it has a tonic water feel to it. Young and compelling. This will blossom with time.
