Medium to deep red colour with a trace of purple in the rim. There are mature toasty and earthy notes in the developed bouquet as well as faint leafy blackcurrant notes. Savoury, mellow and developed, the palate is soft and earthy, savoury dry and developed. Medium-bodied, and nicely proportioned.

Nice to get your Oates every now and then. Redcurrant and citrus, some crushed fennel, green herbs. It’s bright and crunchy in style, firm acidity and some grip, a little sour-edged, but refreshing in a vibrant tangy style. 2019-2022
