40yo vines, open fermented, 12 days on skins in used American hogsheads with the heads knocked out, pressed to American hogsheads (50% new) for 18 months maturation. It is full-bodied, and held in a corset of oak. The oak handling has been very skilful - time could produce a revolution James Halliday (01 August 2020)
