Dormant Star is a Tasmanian Single Rum, crafted and aged at the historic Willow Court Asylum.
Notes of vanilla, tobacco leaf and chocolate are layered with hints of orange and butterscotch to create a tipple you'd enjoy on an intergalactic voyage.
The ferment is a 100% Australian molasses sourced from a certified sustainable sugar producer and is double distilled through 'Ripley' the distillery's copper pot still. The spirit is then matured for 2-3 years in American Oak, ex-whisky , bourbon casks.
Best enjoyed neat, over ice, or in a Rum Old Fashioned.
