About this product

This Durif is inky mahogany in colour with garnet and purple tints. It has aromas of violets, raspberries and blackberries, stewed plums, cherry rhubarb, white pepper, spice and a hint of mint. The palate is rich and very full, with mouth-filling texture of fine vanillin oak and powdery chocolate tannins. The flavours are well balanced with crushed berries, cherries, chocolate, liquorice and spice, mint and jube and a fresh acidity.

This is one of those wines that is so nice that you want to share it with your friends, but it is also one of those wines that is so nice, that you want to keep it all to yourself.

What a lovely red wine. A different style of red wine from what I normally drink. Just so much fruit and spice flavour. I bought it by chance and I’ll be back to get more. The wine went well with the thick steaks cooked on the bbq.
