Each 500ml hand-crafted cocktail lid is manually dipped in wax with a silver foil swing tag, presented in a hand wax dripped, thick cardboard cylinder box. As each Gift Box is manually waxed, no two boxes are the same, some minor organic imperfections may be visible.

The Old Fashioned is said to have been first created at the Pendennis Club, a famous gentlemen’s club in Louisville, Kentucky in 1881 in honour of Colonel James E. Pepper – famed bourbon distiller, who then introduced it to New York high society during his frequent visits to the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel bar in New York. They clearly embraced it, given how the infamous ‘Mad Men’ had such a taste for it 80 years later in the 1960s Manhattan advertising scene. The Old Fashioned has had a makeover or two over its time. But this smooth, bitter, sweet simplicity of Bulleit Straight Bourbon Whiskey, traditional Angostura Bitters, and sugar cane syrup is a tonic that Don Draper himself would approve of.
