Cael's Gate know how to pack flavour into a bottle. A red with good attack on the palate, boasting generous, classic, cassis-like cabernet flavours in a very pure, succulent form. The taste is deep and the wine retains freshness and balance, showing a pleasing leafy note in the midst of all of that perfectly ripened fruit.

This is impressively fruited and perfumed on the nose showing crème de cassis, dark plum, thyme, hazelnut and floral aromas, followed by a concentrated palate that's weighty and flavoursome. It's youthfully attractive and persistent with terrific fruit power. At its best: now to 2033.
