Our Amaroo vineyards take their name after the Aboriginal word meaning ‘a place of beauty.’ Early in the morning, a lone Stag can often be seen in the hills behind the vineyards, full of power and grace – characters that we strive to emulate in all of our wines.
This wine is deep red with crimson hues, showing vibrant aromas of plum, blackcurrants and dark cherry with hints of clove and cedar spice. The palate is rich and full with mulberries and vanilla oak, hints of espresso and dark chocolate, that lead seamlessly to a balanced and integrated finish.
