Dark berry, cherry and plum fruits on the nose, with a hint of pepper and dark chocolate. A generous palate with ripe berry and plum fruits dominating the fruit spectrum, leading to a rich fleshy mid palate. This is complemented by more savoury notes of black pepper, leather, mocha and vanilla derived from the oak. The palate is softly textured with chewy fruit tannins running through the length of the wine. Great with roast or barbecued red meats, mature hard cheeses.
