It's sweetly fruited and instantly appealing on the nose showing dark plum, spiced cherry, clove and cedar notes with a touch of cracked pepper. The palate offers terrific fruit intensity and rounded mouthfeel, well supported by fine texture and plenty of polished tannins. It's stylish and complex with lovely savoury nuances.
