Hand-picked fruit from 50yo dry-grown bush vines on the proprietary Blindspot vineyard in Blewitt Springs, across 3 distinctive parcels. Fermented separately in tank, some with bunches (14% in total). 10 months in French puncheons. This is best drunk as if a lighter frisky red, despite the weight. Again, a bit hollow. Kirsch, bergamot, tamarind and darker cherry scents. A spindle of fibrous tannins, sandy and gritty, promote verve and an ease of drinkability.
