From 80yo dry-grown bushvines. Bright, clear crimson-purple; the bouquet is pure and correct, with red cherry/raspberry aromas leading the way with a stream of focused fruit, oak and tannins standing by watching proceedings.

Vintage 2015
Despite the late ripening nature of grenache, this cuvee hails from 80yo vines, elevated across the sandy soils of a single plot within Blewitt Springs. The result is a deceivingly light to mid-weighted free-flow of pomegranate, rose water, orange rind and a litany of red fruits led by fresh strawberry, all given focus and punchy length by sandy tannins and bright, tangy acidity. There's initially a pinotesque ethereal nature to this, although the sweetness and impact grow in the glass. The wine is unoaked in order to accentuate the fruit's beam and effortless length of flavour.
