Distilled in 2016 and bottled 8 years later in 2024 at 57.1% for La Masion Du Whisky's Artist Collective Series 7, this Ben Nevis has been matured in three first-fill Montravel wine hogsheads.
The nose displays rich notes of dried peat, orange zest, toffee and tasted walnuts.
The palate initially brings pepper and paprika with notes of candied pear, apricot and grapefruit while encompassed by gentle peat, malt and light menthol.
The finish is long and silky with dark chocolate coating a more subtle peat while delicate flavours of tobacco and candied ginger round out the whisky.
