Herencia de Sanchez Espadin Mezcal is produced, like Rey Campero, by the Sanchez family. Romulo Sanchez took over his father's distillery in 2003 and works with around ten species of agaves, cultivated or wild, to produce mezcal in an artisanal manner. Herencia de Sanchez shares similar characteristics with Rey Campero Espadin, undergoing the same production process but with a lower alcohol content, making it more suitable for use in cocktails. It is an aromatic mezcal, easy to approach, and carries typical smoky flavors.
