Dorrien Estate was originally established in the 1950s as the winery for Woodley Queen Adelaide - one of Australia's most successful wine brands. It is situated on the corner of Siegersdorf Road and Barossa Valley Way, halfway between Nuriootpa and Tanunda in the heart of the Barossa Valley. Today it is a large, state-of-the-art winery with modern crushing, fermentation and oak maturation facilities, producing a wide variety of wines including a premium quality range under the 'Dorrien Estate' brand. These are centered around a number of products; the drink now 'Premium Selection" range, the Lockwood Siding range, the value for money 'Bin' products, the super premium 'Growers' range and the 'Iconic' Bin 1 wines. The Estate itself is planted only to premium varieties, mainly Chardonnay, Semillon, Shiraz and Cabernet. The winery sources fruit from numerous traditional Barossa Valley growers as well as growers and regions further afield. Neil Doddridge is always working towards creating the most stunning wines at every level.
