Palate: Delicately poised yet packed full of flavour, the palate brings together the lime and lemon notes
the variety is so famous for complemented perfectly by the zesty cleansing acidity. A wine to enjoy whilst young but that will also benefit from further cellaring to increase its roundness and
complexity.
Oak: Nil
Food Match: Freshly shucked Coffin Bay oysters.
Drink Until: 2027
The season was quite dry overall with little winter and spring rainfall across the region. This low rainfall combined with warm weather resulted in lower yields but with ripe and flavour rich
grapes. Cooler night time temperatures pushed the harvest well into midFebruary and early March, retaining fruit with typically higher natural acidities, fresh flavour profiles and lively palate characteristics.
Each parcel of Riesling was kept separate and processed individually, fermenting cool in stainless steel. Once dry, the final Mulga blend was assembled and bottled in late 2019. A classic Clare Valley Riesling that features elevated fruit flavours from the warmer vintage matched to crisp, natural acidity.
