This Margaret River chardonnay features a generous palate bursting with lemon curd, stone fruit, macadamia and toasty oak with juicy acid leading to a long finish. Lifted aromatics of lemon balm, peach fuzz and melon on the nose with subtle toasty oak and hints of vanillin.

Bought unknown at a special price, I am happy with the purchase. The wine exhibits typical fruit plus oak characteristics of MR chardonnay but to my taste it has a slightly astringent finish which pulls my rating back from good to average.
