Colour: Dense ruby red-purple Hues.
Nose: Lifted Choc, vanillin, earthy, blackcherry, spicy black pepper and plum - complex fruit
Palate: The palate has flavour, ripeness and concentration, with undertones of pepper and spice and layers of strong berry fruit flavours. The finish is full and soft, well rounded tannins carry on the palate.
Oak: Second used American & French oak.
Food Match: Rare lamb fillets with Asian greens and warm baby corn salad.

Bill Brand's Right Side of the Tracks wines are Coonawarra through and through - as is Bill! His grandfather got off the train at Coonawarra in 1902 and started work at John Riddoch's winery. The Brand family have lived in the region and been involved with fine Coonawarra wine ever since.
