Colour: Very intense, deep, vibrant purple hues.
Nose: Concentrated earthy and herbal notes with upfront blackcurrants, black cherry and mulberry hints, juicy ripe plums combined with integrated fine toasty French oak, a very concentrated and complex bouquet
Palate: Beautiful concentrated spicy fruit with tobacco cedar notes combined with ripe black- berries, the intense fruit from the nose follows through on the palate. Well structured even tannins are balanced with a fine acidity and rich earthy flavours, producing a very special wine of great complexity and length.
Oak: 12 months in one & two year old french oak barrels
Food Match: Slow cooked lamb shanks.
