Concentrated blackberry and blackcurrant
Region: Barossa, South Australia.
Colour: Deep crimson red with purple tints.
Nose: Layers of concentrated blackberry and blackcurrant fruit meld with spice notes.
Palate: Warm and generous with fine tannins supporting the ripe, spicy fruit and integrated vanilla oak, while the mouthfeel is full and rounded. A long, lingering finish completes the experience.
Oak: 12 months in French oak hogsheads.
Food Match: Seared Kangaroo fillet with Moroccan spices or a rare fillet steak and onions.
