Found high in the Skilly Hills sub-region of Clare Valley, the grey loam soil lies overtop of shale and slate rock This block has contributed to the purity of this Shiraz. It features lifted aromatics of black berries with subtle oak tones. The palate has concentrated flavours of dark fruits complemented by elegant tannins giving a long flavoursome finish.

I have great respect for Clare Valley wines. However, not this one. Sold as a Clare, but only second pressings I reckon. Admittedly it was not expensive because on special, but who on earth would have been happy at the standard price? To me
