About this product

Big beautiful Shiraz with a sense of elegance
From Clare Valley specialist Matthew Reimann
A classic in the making

Region: Clare Valley, South Australia

Colour: Deep dark red with purple hues.

Nose: Aromas of dark berry fruits complexed by subtle spicy, licorice notes. Lifted red berries with subtle cedar oak.

Palate: Full-bodied with the dark fruit and white pepper aromas following onto the palate with coffee and moch flavours. Firm yet fine tannins from the skilfully new and used French and American oak and smooth elegant tannins add structure and complexity with long length of flavour on the finish.

Oak: New & 2nd use French and American oak barrels.

Food Match: Pot roast with all the trimmings.

Winemaker: Matthew Reimann

Drink Until: 2025

While the Clare Valley is at the forefront of most wine connoisseurs for the sensational Riesling produced there, most knowledgeable wine consumers will also be aware of the sensational red wines produced from Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Richly flavoured and generally long lived these wines are easily able to stand proud alongside any top notch Barossa wines.
