About this product

Saperavi is a deep, darkly coloured red grape variety that orginates from Georgia. Known for being stylish wine variety that has attractive aromas of berry fruit, vanilla and cherry.
Colour: Rich deep purple with vibrant magenta hues.
Nose: Lifted ripe berry fruits, vanilla, cherry and fennel notes.
Palate: Intense blackcurrant, morello cherry, apricot and ripe raspberry. Spicy notes of cardamon and cinnamon from the oak, tight yet approachable tannins frame this wine and drive it through to a long, flavoursome finish.

Having had plenty of Saperavi in Georgia (and missing it so much!) I thought I'd try this not expecting much, but it's a really great drop! The tight tannins do justice to Georgian Saperavi, and the nose and palate are very pleasant. Intens
