Medium-boded with lifted berry fruit and spice
Region: McLaren Vale, South Asutralia.
Colour: Brick red with purple hues.
Nose: The wines has aromas of cherry, raspberry, vanilla and subtle herb.
Palate: A medium-bodied palate of lifted berry flavours, subtle spices and terrific drive through supple tannins and fine acidity.
Oak: 9 months in second use French oak
Food Match: A perfect pairing with a beef massaman curry or pork belly with roasted fennel.

Take it the the grave is a joint venture between Nicholas Crampton and South Australian winemaker Corey Ryan created to deliver interesting and rewarding wines whilst challenging a few established rules and preconceptions. The Take it to the Grave Grenahce takes on the mysteries and individual personalities of old vine vineyards.
Sourced from a selection of mature, dry grown vineyards in McLaren Vale managed by Jim Zerella acorss Willunga, Seaview and McLaren Flat.
