Deep red/purple colour, with a more savoury style of bouquet, seemingly a bit more mature, with some dry straw and dry herb notes. The vegetal notes dominate. Some cocoa powder. The wine is full-bodied and dense, but also soft and approachable. But it has the structure to age well for many years.
