About this product

Shiraz is without doubt South Australia’s flag-bearer red wine, capable of expressing distinctive regional and even more defined single vineyard identities, no matter where it thrives. The Coonawarra perhaps flies a little under the shiraz radar, though here you have discovered an absolute gem from an elegant northern district site which has brought to the fore delightful crimson berry and plum fruit crush characters in a medium to full bodied carriage, spot-on evidence that Coonawarrashiraz can express cooler-climate sensibilities. As these notes reverberate with fresh, zesty red fruit flavours, the wine’s undercurrent of soft, yet lively, acidity and tannin add a great line and length to the drinking. Delicious, and right in the pocket of contemporary shiraz expression.
