Tasting notes: Cabernet Sauvignon
Colour: Medium intensity with bright purple hue.
Nose: Generous and lifted, showing complex aromas of cherry liquor and mulberry fruits complemented by notes of mint and spice.
Palate: Medium bodied with distinctive ripe dark fruits and classic spicy cassis finishing with background French oak characteristics.

Colour: Medium intensity straw with a faint pink hue.
Nose: Enticing, lifted aromas of spice, apple, nashi pear and cumquat zest.

I loved both of these wines. The Pinot Gris has a permanent place in my fridge for when guests pop over. I loved the Cabernet Sauvignon so much that I ordered more just by itself. Remarkable value for money from such a highly regarded wine

Love the earthy tones, if you love tannins and berries this is for you. The Pinot Gris has a beautiful melon flavour with bite

Both of these wines are very well priced especially considering the regions they come from. The Pinot Gris has great texture and delicious nashi pear character, while the Cabernet is a good example of Coonawarra Cabernet in a lighter year.
