Domaine de BinetWild Fiano Chardonnay 2017
About this product
New to the range, wine historians consider Fiano the classical vine of Southern Italy and Sicily producing a wine worthy of ageing. Ideally suited to the Hunter Valley's growing conditions, and created in a non interventionist method with skin contact prior to ferment, followed by a wild barrel ferment before extended ageing on lees, it offers a deep golden colour with green tinges and citrus, honey dew and oak overtones. One of those rare whites that will age gracefully until 2022.Food match: Robust cheeses, chicken and pork
