The Shinobu Pure Malt 15YO is a premium Japanese whisky that is crafted by the Shinobu Distillery, located in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. Niigata is known in Japan for its Three White treasures: snow, rice and sake, and a naturally blessed environment for pure water source.
The Shinobu 15 year old is a premium Japanese Whisky aged for a minimum of 15 years, allowing the flavours to develop and mature over time.
Shinobu (meaning forbearance in Japanese) Whisky is hand crafted by the creative master blender, Mr. Ken Usami, by using a blend of malted barley, which is carefully selected and mashed to create a rich and complex flavour profile which are first reserved in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks and then finishing them with precious Japanese Mizunara oak.
