12 months in 100% French oak (25% new), 30% whole bunches, aged in bottle for a further 12 months gives this wine concentration and complexity. Classic Hunter Valley savoury characters of earth and game dominate the palate, with an undercurrent of red and black fruits, complemented by spicy oak and held together by fine tannins.

Grown on a single hectare of the estate with river gravel over clay. 30% whole bunch, 15 months in French hogsheads (30% new). A richer style than its siblings with licorice, tobacco, and sweet spice notes adding complexity to the ripe fruit characters. There's density and depth to the flavours here and a glycerous quality about the mouthfeel. Will age very well.
