Made by the century-old Okayama Distillery, 'Okayama Crft Gin' is Japan's first barrel aged gin and has more than 10 botanicals of rarely used white peach and pione from Okayama prefecture as well as juniper berries, coriander, lemon peel, lavender, orange, hop, malt, cinnamon, ginger. With a rice shochu base for a softer and slightly sweeter finish, it is aged in oak barrels until it acquires smokey fragrance and golden colour.
At 50% ABV, this gin's expression is lively and dare we say a bit fruity. It has no need of tonic and shines through straight or with ice however, it is more than up to you the challenge of mixing it with premium mixers.
