The fruit for this stylish Yarra Valley cabernet was picked at precisely the right moment. Ripe, but not too ripe; leafy, but by no means green, and retaining lovely freshening acidity. It's "cabernet" credentials come shining through with black currant being the dominant flavour. Oak plays a distant supporting role, contributing a hint of mocha. Very well made - an excellent rendition of Yarra Valley Cab Sauv.
