A beautifully maturing shiraz; the sweetly fragrant bouquet shows lovely dark fruit richness together with seductive notes of game, chocolate and cake spice. The palate delivers excellent weight and depth, beautifully complemented by rounded mouthfeel and silky tannins. Very long and attractive. At its best: now to 2022.

Made in collaboration with Phil Christiansen (the '14 that appeared in the 2017 Wine Companion was made in conjunction with Matt Wenk). A rich, full-bodied, bold shiraz that could only have come from McLaren Vale.
