Estate-grown, matured in French oak for 17 months. Excellent colour; cigar box/cedary oak is the first out of the blocks on a medium-bodied palate; the fruit is relatively delicate, but its red berries are inviting, as are the freshness and length of the palate. Give it a year or two and the oak will back off somewhat.
