Made from 50-year-old vines, grapes were basket pressed and fermented in old French oak barrels using indigenous yeasts; the delightfully expressed bouquet shows raspberry, apple, lemon peel and floral characters, leading to a succulent palate that offers excellent weight and vibrancy, backed by fine texture and zesty acidity. It is fresh and lively while offering elegant complexity with lovely textural mouthfeel. At its best: now to 2020.
