Vibrant green hue; a youthful and expressive bouquet showing citrus, straw and a dollop of toasty oak; nice tension in texture and acidity provide a long and fresh finish.

Medium straw-yellow colour, showing some age development. The bouquet is lightly-toasty and has a sharp-edged green herb and crushed leaf aromatic. There's a dusty, peppery note, perhaps from slightly underripe grapes. There's a lot of capsicum in the palate flavours as well, and the wine is taut and just a bit lean. It would have been austere when young. The oak has been subtly handled.
