Derived from distillation in a pot still of aniseed and other aromatic spices, that enhance the freshness of the Mediterranean green anise, produced according to the original recipe created in 1870 by Silvio Meletti. Aged in barrel for the time required to ensure that the distilled anise’s flavour is heightened and none of the bitter traces remain, then extremely lightly filtered before bottling
