About this product

Best rum in the world under 5yrs at the World Rum Awards 2019 and best pot stilled rum under 5yrs at the World Rum Awards 2020. This multi-award-winning dark rum produced at Mt Uncle Distillery is fermented using locally sourced sugarcane syrup. This is then aged for 5yrs in ex-red wine hogshead barrels. Rich and smooth tasting, this rum will leave toffee apple on the pallet and a long lingering caramel finish.

Wouldn't typically drink Rum without a mixer, but this is definitely an exception. Only 5 years old but by far one of the best in its price range.

This rum seems to be modelled on a couple of premium South American rums...without achieving that premium zing. To me their are far better Caribbean and South American rums for around the same price. And if you want to buy Australian Bund
