Fermented in 50% French and 50% Hungarian oak leads this wine to an aroma of stewed pears and fig followed by a palate that is crisp, a hint of spice and fine characters of creamy pear and white pepper on the finish. Best with exotic, savoury, white meat dishes.
No additional acid was necessary resulting in a very textural wine which will age well.
