About this product

The source of Finlaggan has remained a very closely guarded secret since its inception. To find its origin you'll simply have to taste it and find out! On the nose theres light medicinal notes with hints of peanut, band-aid, manuka honey and dry biscuits. The palate has flavours of sweet peat and grain with barley malt, medium smoke, antiseptic, nutmeg and ginger. The finish is long, sweet and with toasty oak and some peppermint.

A friend gave me a bottle of this on my last visit to the UK, I love the full smokey peat flavour, not at all overpowering like a Laphroaig smooth and mellow. My order online through Dan's just arrived great to know I can get here in Austra

The 'secret' distillery in not Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bunnahabain, Kilchoman or Bruichladdich, none of which add artificial colouring. More likely Laphroaig, Bowmans or Lagavilin which do.

A disappointment, especially at this price point. Whilst I acknowledge the flavour descriptions are quite accurate, they come across as muddled and artificial. Excessively nutty, and the "band-aid and medicinal" aftertastes are unpleasantly
