Introducing a very special release…Every precious drop of this very special 7 year-old Irish Whiskey has been triple-distilled with malted and un-malted Irish Barley, and unique Irish Barra Oats at The Shed Distillery of PJ Rigney. Maturing in exquisite Tawny Port casks since 2018, a distinctive character and depth of taste have gradually evolved over the last 7 years as it awaited the seal of approval from Head Distiller Brian Taft. The whiskey ethos at The Shed Distillery prioritises exceptional quality over quantity and all whiskey is made in small quantities and never rushed to a deadline.NOSE: Rich notes of clove and honey descend into subtle aromas of sun ripened fruit and toasty caramel.PALATE: Sumptuous, dried fruits, hazelnuts with distinctive oak spice balanced deliciously with the influences of the delectable Tawny Port cask.FINISH: A delicate sweetness of spiced caramel, roasted hazelnut and raisin that lingers lightly on the tongue.
