This expression is one of the small number of octave casks to be bottled following careful selection from Master Blender, Rachel Barrie, composed of Glenglassaugh peated malt matured in Bourbon, Port and Oloroso Sherry Cask Octaves. The smaller casks allow for greater interaction between the wood and spirit, taking in the rich minerals of the Glassaugh spring and the fresh, North Sea air that permeates our coastal warehouses. The result is an expression with a harmonious marriage of sweet notes and fruit with savoury smoke, spiced by the sea. Bottled at 44% ABV, non chill filtered and natural in colour.
